QRCode Copycat ("the app") is built with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and what we do not do.
The app requests access to your device's camera solely to scan QR codes in real time. No images, video frames, or camera output are saved to disk, transmitted over a network, or shared with any third party. Camera access is used only while the scanner screen is active and only to detect QR code metadata.
When a QR code is scanned, the decoded string (text, URL, etc.) is displayed on screen and optionally copied to your device clipboard at your request. This content is never stored by the app between sessions, logged, or sent anywhere.
QR codes are generated entirely on-device using iOS's built-in CoreImage framework. The text you enter into the generator is not stored, transmitted, or retained after you leave the screen.
We do not collect any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no registration, and no analytics. We have no way to identify, contact, or track any user of the app.
QRCode Copycat does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services. No data is shared with any third party for any purpose.
The app makes no network requests. There is no server, no API, and no remote endpoint of any kind. All functionality runs entirely on your device.
Because the app stores nothing, there is nothing to delete. Uninstalling the app removes it completely. Your clipboard contents are managed by your device's operating system and are not controlled by this app.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
This policy may be updated if new features are added that affect how data is handled. Any material changes will be reflected in an updated version published here and in the app's App Store listing. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
